I admire your work a lot and was looking forward to a reaction from you Brian. Handtool work has a strong tradition in Japanse woodworking, and if I am not too wrong then I think you take a lot of inspiration from Japan.
Is there anything in the shape of these items that draws from handtool use, other then surface textures?
