I'm going to make a try/long plane for auction in the benefit auctions, and if still OK and needed, it will be for the benefit of Stephen Shepherd.

Same basic plane that Brian Holcombe shows the straight chips coming out of, and it'll have some sort of mainline sheffield maker's double iron in it (butcher, greaves, ward...just haven't settled on which iron and cap yet).

I will make the plane ex handle, and then after the auction, make the handle based on the hand size of the winner so that nobody can end up with an uncomfortable plane.
