Subject:
old chiseleliot feldman
I found an old chisel in Winsted, Connecticut with the marking S&W; there was also a kind of tiny engraving under these letters of a hand wrapped around a tool (the way you would hold a chisel to hammer it for carving a stone sculpture. ) It's in fine shape -- except for being dull as a butter knife -- so I will sharpen it up. My question is about it's quality and origin. Could S&W have anything to do with Smith and Weston gun manufacturers? Do I have anything special?
