Essential jigs/aids for woodworking..... () Bruce McCrory
Melamine surfaced sawdust board. Something bad always happens to the darling jigs I labor over.
I screwed a 30" ($2) section to a $18 saw horse. I have a $20 workbench that I can cover with glue, pepper with drill holes (until it rains); and flip over for a second life--if it doesn't get wet. Today, I screwed a scrap of pine into it for a shooting board.
I had Big Box cutting some plywood when I noticed a stack of the stuff in the discount bin. $12 should last me a couple of years.
Great stuff! And, no regrets. None.
