I've given up for a while on trying to post pictures: Iphoto stopped work for me altogether( something about an upgrade). (I have to go to the Apple store.)

I've gotten to the point where I'm fitting the iron into the abutments and the bed. I'd say the iron fits down about 2/3 way. It's going very slowly because I cut the abutments on the narrow side. I'm using that blunt chisel technique that I learned here. Just an old file that I ground a blunt edge on. It really does work! But slow.
