I prefer these long threads that progress with disorder (thanks Tom, that's perfect ). I sometimes don't even read them until there's a bunch of posts and it's clear that it is an active discussion with some interesting side paths.

I think I would find a strictly Q&A format pretty dull really, sorry but there it is.
