Rob, you probably weren't watching the last discussion, and why Charles asked about the Japanese.

There was a relatively one-sided debate on here not that long ago where (Charles can tell me if I'm wrong) Charles contended that the difference between the Japanese steels used in tools vs. stuff like Records "tungsten vanadium" steel was a marketing and storytelling difference, and not a composition/performance difference.

Any of us who thought the hitachi specialty blade steels offered better performance than the O1s and chrome vanadiums are now (and presumably going forward) subject to Charles asking if improvements come from japan.
