That's a pretty snazzy machine, BUT...

The cost of that one machine alone is more than all the machines and tools in my shop combined, including my 1981 Goldwing (which I include because it occupies more than half of my shop space). So, I could either swap everything in my shop plus raid my retirement funds to get a machine to make mortises in wood I could no longer afford to buy, OR I could learn to use my cheap but effective Narex mortising chisels better.

It really is that simple.

Awesome skills work much better for me than awesome machines. Because of the recent discussions on cap irons, inter alia, I can continue using my existing tool set and amp up my skill set. Works for me. That's what this forum is all about.
