I have worked with cambered chipbreakers for years.

The curve is created in exactly the same way as the cambered edge on the blade. i.e. in an Eclipse type guide with the breaker set at 45 degrees.

I would not begin to claim that these curves were exactly the same, but it feels good to have gone some way towards addressing the issue!!
