Bench Hook depth? ()

I cut 5 inches off the bench hooks. BIG difference in the right direction. I still have work to do on my sawing to minimize the time needed at the shooting board, but my cuts after the trim were slightly closer to plumb. On one inch stock I am still off just shy of a sixteenth.
