That if you are going to start off with an in depth understanding of the characteristics of wood and how to get the best out of it when using it as your chosen material then it`s gonna take longer than 30 days to open their heads and pour in everything they need to know to get started properly.
If you were able to convey all the required knowledge within the 30 day time frame then I`d be curious to see what standards were to be met for a final evaluation prior to graduation and going out into the world. I would be even more interested in the findings of a follow up study to see how much of the knowledge the students had retained at 6 and 12 months after graduation.
