Board Feet of Walnut if I use 3/4?

"An easier way of making that design would be to make it the same way as a krenov style plane by cutting you head into three slabs and then cutting the center slab in two at the appropriate angle. Then glue the four pieces back together to form the head with a tapered hole through it."

I had thought about doing that way and that may be the way I go for the first go at it. If I did go that way with it and use the plan I linked above, it seems that I could use 3/4 stock and get close to the metric that is on there already. How many board feet would I need to do that?
