Subject:
Editors wanted

Ellis Walentine
By all means, if any of you has editorial aspirations, let me know and we'll figure out how to put your energy to good use around here. I'd be doing more of it myself if I weren't trying to steer the ship and stoke the boilers, too.

Meanwhile, regarding the notion of establishing a reference library or its equivalent here, I'd like to see a schema detailing how that would look. It's fair enough to edit together a revealing new article, such as the cap iron discussion, when something novel surfaces, but I don't think any of us are prepared to catalog or explicate all that's known on any particular subject. It's a tempting notion, but, as we've seen, there are almost as many takes and opinions on any given subject as there are people discussing it.

Let's see if anyone wants to harvest all the raw discussions and start the editing process. I'm willing to help, but I'm going to be really tied up for the next week at least.

Thanks for the creative impulse. Consider WoodCentral a matrix for developing your ideas, here on the forum and anywhere else you can see a way.

Cheers,
Ellis
