Possibly missing nothing ... it depends on the thickness of the chop, and I am sure that the BC wheels spin on-and-off quickly - my wooden threads are likely to crawl by comparison. I could not consider reversing the chop, as you plan. So for me it is KIS. Let us know how it works out.
