Well its not big time woodworking....but during the summer, my ww turns to the exterior of my house with little time in the shop....so this Moxon will have to do....and here is a progress pic of the vise so far:

Derek....I'm thinking of beveling that front chop as I don't see it as a problem....all I'd have to do is rotate the chop and I'd have a full level base for registering a chisel??!! I really like the Benchcrafted hardware....I just basically followed their suggested vise construction and altered the design so that it can be held on the bench between dogs or clamped to the front of the bench and also fit in the space in my shop reserved for the vise when stored. Some sanding and a finish to follow.
