The supersurfacer blades can be micro adjusted by changing the bed angle, thereby renewing the worn away relief angle. The blades do not bed flat to the frog, but only at the sole end of the frog and at the top end against an adjustable wedge, held under spring load. so the life of a sharpened edge can be extended considerably. This is all all pretty exciting stuff isnt it.
