When you build a house, you need a permit and a number of inspections. Cars are government regulated out the ying-yang. We are told we have to put our babies in car seats (that would be regulations on what we can do with our children). Air planes are government regulated. Real estate and banking are government regulated. But all I need to foist a $20 table on someone for $7000 is a tax id number, a Skilsaw, and a screw gun. Just wondering.
