Sometimes you can see that wear on the faceside very well. A gleaming white line along the edge. I think it was you advocating a tiny backbevel to adres this? Usually I just polish the face vigourously on my fine stone. That takes away the wearbevel easy enough. Maybe I am in fact introducing a tiny backbevel with this method. Anyway, there is more to it then just removing the burr.
