Question for Bill, David, and others () Chuck Bjorgen
Hey Wiley -- I've been using a four stone diamond set for about a month now and have been using water only. I'm thinking about adding a bit of dish detergent to the spray bottle to help. I've also seen online one diamond user who uses a Windex type product as a cutting fluid. I learned the hard way that after use it's good to flush off the stones or they will develop rust from the metal residue. The manufacturer of these stones also recommends an occasional cleaning with a kitchen cleanser. I've been using Barkeepers Friend and a small hand brush for that.
