How nice of you to congratulate me on finally getting the plane to work right! I know you had no motive, but anyway, I just ordered your "collection". Not even sure what's in it: looked like some videos and some books. Possibly somewhat redundant because I have the Harrelson video on Side Sharpening, which I found extremely useful ( even if it is a shameless plug for Shaptons.) All this hand tool stuff is a bit new to me; I'm really a turner (something similar to David Ellsworth hollow vessels.) I find myself spending more and more time sharpening blades and tuning my two wood Krenov-style planes and enjoying it.
