I have a small anvil, I think 9 pounds, if I remember right cost me about $70 from Todd Hughes on the bay. I frame about 3 or 4 pictures every year and use a wire hanger with little aluminum tubes that are crimped on the ends of the wire to form an eye. So I use the anvil to hammer those tubes shut on the wire and it's always a pleasure to have just the right size anvil for the job.
