No one has mentioned the front edge of the chipbreaker, (if there is one).
These are always sold unfinished. We need;
Perfect fit to blade back.
Top surface polished and creating a sharp edge where it meets underside.
The angle of this top surface must not exceed 45 degrees at front.
Any hint of a square edge at the front is liable to cause choking.
