Nice work overall Derek, and it must be a pleasure to be able do your woodworking at a relatively relaxed pace... I sometimes wish I'd had that luxury once in a while because everything I've ever made always seems to have to get done fast. I've watched your progress with this over a few threads and found it interesting.

I have just one significant criticism: your bench seems to be missing a tool well. I've disliked workbenches without this (to me) essential feature somewhere for almost my whole furniture making career, because without one there's nowhere to put your tools where they are relatively safe and hard to knock off. I guess you can tell that happened to me at some point resulting in a broken tool-- I can't recall what tool now. Ever since a tool well has been an essential element of a workbench in my eyes, and far outweighs the minor inconvenience of it being a junk collection point. Slainte.
