There is only one piece of furniture that is left in my home that I did not construct. I make a nice piece for my children every Christmas. I spend a minimum of six hours a day in my shop 6 days a week(even when I taught woodworking I spent this amount of time in my shop). I have real pine wall boards. I just finished painting my spray booth. Why do I do this? I admit that I am a little ocd, but it just makes me feel good to be in the shop. My goal this summer is to put a raised wood floor above the concrete and to get rid of the metal entry door and put in a arts and crafts door. You should see Cris Gochnors shop in Salt Lake City. Beautiful place with hardwood floors on the bench area. I believe that this just adds to the peacefulness.
