I'm getting ready to contact St. James Bay to see if he has replacement parts for some of my Stanley tool finds*, and wonder what experiences folks have had with his cutting irons - steel, heat treatment, etc.

*Someone on WoodNet had heard he's getting out of the replacement parts business. If, when I reach him, there's news, I'll report back.
