Speaking of Tiger Oak

David Miller from Iowa
I made a few small gifts from a very nice piece of 90 degree QS white oak. And was just looking up the "Mission Finish" recipe to make the tiger stripes pop. I had bookmarked Jeff Jewitt's homestead finishing page but that link is now dead. I did his "non-fume" once before with good results, but just wanted to double check.

I think it was a light coat of shellac, then sanding, then staining, then finish. Is this right? Thanks.
