So far, we (my sweetie and I) have set up PayPal only to pay for things; but a recent experience selling something has convinced me we should set it up to receive money, too.

PayPal doesn't provide a lot of detail on their "explanations" - more sales pitch than description.

Does it automatically transfer money into your bank account, or just into the PayPal account, from which you can transfer it into your own account; and, if the latter, can you set it up so that more than one account is available to which to transfer it? If we do this, I'd like to be able to move it to our checking account or to my mad money account, depending on what I sold, for instance.
