Subject:
Titebond instant glue?

Ellis Walentine
I must sheepishly admit that, even though this product has been on the market for quite a while, I've never used it. I understand that it is a family of cyanoacrolates of differing viscosities. I've always been apprehensive about using CA glue for joinery, partly because of its fast tack and partly because I don't know how long it will last before it oxidizes or something and loses its hold. But now, I'm wondering if one of these products might be okay for gluing up picture frames. And, scarier still, whether I could use it with biscuit-joined miters?

What could go wrong, I always say....

Any experience along these lines?

Ellis
