Subject:
designing a table *PIC*

Bill Tindall, E.Tn.

I have been refining the design for a while, first on paper and then in person using some "top grade" materials. The thickness of the vertical pieces must proportion well with the top thickness. Short of laying up a top from real wood I don't know how to simulate the top thickness. As it stands the top will be 7/8" for that is the best I can tease out of the curly ash available. The vertical members are 1 1/8" in the picture.
