Exit strategy

My wife and I have discussed this.

We are not where we want to be 10 years from now.
While our area is beautiful, it is not "friendly" to the aged.
We have seen far too many good "bad examples" of people who really should have moved closer to better medical care and a better support infrastructure.

While I have spent many an hour in the shop and I enjoy making things, I really can't move a shop into a condo. I may end up w/ 1/2 a garage as a shop. So that means cutting back on the tools and the projects.

What is the minimum shop? What do you really need? That's what I would have to determine. I don't know what that answer is.

I would say my current minimum would be:
Lathe
Router table
Planer
Band saw
Small work bench
Table saw
Roll around dust collector

Can I fit that in 1/2 a garage? Probably. I would have to keep my work place a lot neater :D
