Re: No exit strategy 2. ()

Barry Irby
I have spent a lifetime accumulating the tools and skills and materials. I am 67 and recently essentially lost a year to prostate cancer, surgery then radiation. It occurred to me that if I did not get busy, my sons will inherit the shop and materials and one of them is in no position to receive them and the other is not a woodworker. Working in my shop is my my exit strategy. Like some others, life has come between me and woodworking. As a home builder I did use some facets of it to improve my houses and more recently used it to improve the homes I flipped, but have only recently started to build the furniture I have been putting aside for years. I am considering building a coffin for myself or perhaps turning an urn. The best anyone can hope for is to die well. In the shop.
