It has been a long time since I used the West brand, but dept of the container is your enemy, so either pour it into a shallow dish so it can dissipate the heat.
When I'm doing large complex glue ups, I prefer to mix multiple smaller batches.
Unless they have changed the viscosity since I last used that brand, I hope you have some silica to thicken it. If it is too thin , due to the slow kick time, it will drain out of any vertical joints. Not only will additives thicken it to keep it in there, it will make it better by being less brittle.
