Take a look at these pics. I found this clamp at an auction a couple of years ago and recently had the need to hold down some 5 inch wide ( and long) material. I anguished over how I was going to hold down the stock and came across my almost forgotten auction clamp. It worked perfectly. The black handle has the same grip pattern on it as the saw's position securing handle.

I looked for quite a while on the internet to see if this was an optional clamp for this popular De Walt chop saw. I cannot find a reference to the horizontal clamp anywhere. I live about 35 miles from the B and D production facility and I can only surmise that it was made there and never made it into production.

It looks like a tremendous stroke of luck. Has anyone used or even seen this accessory ?
