I do training sessions for arborists who work around power lines...that would be all of us! One section is about post-storm work. Finding where power is on and what might be energized.

Generators will send power back up the transformer and become high power not just 110v. Arborists and others have gotten electrocuted!!!

Short of a disconnect switch pulling the main breakers, not just flipping them, is a better option.
