Hi Dennis,

Wow, 118º in the shop! That would be more than hot enough to discourage me -- or make me get an air conditioner. We've had hot weather here in PA, too, but nothing like you guys down in the center of the country. Back in February, when we were having April weather, I was afraid that this summer would be a scorcher. Looks like that fear is coming true.

We had a weekend of entertaining friends and relatives, with dinners here on Thursday, Friday and Sunday. I'm just about cooked out and ready to tackle another week. It is shaping up to be another fairly hot one (90's) with another heat wave next weekend.

Woodworking was minimal this weekend, though I made some progress on a big white ash bowl I've been working on. Right now, I'm having some back trouble, so I'll be taking it a little easy this week.
