We used this when we build our current house. It was poured 1.5" thick and had radiant heat lines included. It weighs about 4 pounds less than regular concrete per square foot at 1.5". We put porcelain tiles on top and haven't had any tiles crack. If you do use concrete, be careful about getting it too smooth because it would be quite slippery when wet. FWIW
