Thank you, George, I have done my search on the ways and means about the knee surgerys and will be seeing the doctor tomorrow morning. The inside of the knee is tender above and below the knee joint, and the ER doctor said that is because the miscus needs cleaning out and if the cartlidge is in need of repair they will do that then when the date of the surgery is set.
I have always been healthy in my younger yrs and was not ever so sick I could do what was needed in my workings in const.... except for that yr when my back disc went out and even then I was only down for a couple weeks.
I took up the woodworking when mny two sons were in the shop class in high school, bought the Shopsmith in 1978 and have made many pieces of furniture and other items over the yrs. These chairs are a blessing for me to keep active and make something for my family members to remember me by when I am gone.... but not for many yrs(am aiming for 120.....LOL)
