Overheating??? ()

Joe, if you didn't have a heavy load on a small gear motor and it overheated, I feel sure it was defective. As an Engineer at Emerson Electric (Mallory control division) I worked with millions of small gear drive motors. These were used in Appliance controls (Washers / Diswashers / Dryers etc. They should run continuous / forever without overheating if loaded under or to their rated capacity - believe it or not many of these timers require a pretty high torque motor /gearbox to operate.
