the idea of irradiating the coils is a good idea. The air not so much. I am still skeptical that flying stuff past the bulb at the rate it moves in ducts would do any good. Also that it would only "see" the part that actually went through the system. Unlike chlorinating water where there is residual benefit and the chlorine would spread through the liquid The air coming out of the ducts would have no beneficial effect on the surrounding air. In the case of water, all of the output is treated and not mixed back with untreated water.
Now I am wondering if you could treat a crawl space with the light? How long would it have to sit in place and how far could you move it? What about a Roomba type robot to move it around? Never mind, lost my mind again.
