Subject:
Electric Heater for Workshop

Joe Pack
I live in southern Indiana. I have a soon-to-be-completed 16x28 workshop that I need to plan heat for. That gives me about 450 sq. ft, with 10' ceilings. The walls will be insulated to R-13 and the ceiling to R-38. Electricity is the only practical option, but I'm not sure of what hardware I want to use. I have considered strip baseboard heaters, but have also read up on highly recommended (by customers) single units, either portable or wired-in wall/ceiling mounts.

Any ideas on which would work out best?
