Proceeds go to Dan's widow () Dale Lenz
Dan was an engineer who worked for Ford Motor Co. for 35-40 yrs, a guess, but for a long time. He completely designed the sound system, electronics to the design of the control knobs, the Whole Thing, back in the late 1990 on the Ford Taurus.
Dan had 7-8 patents under his belt, what in, not a clue, but I was impressed!
I can assure you Dan put tons of hours in designing/engineering in his banjo. I'd feel very confident that his banjo is well built and will last a long time.
I have no desire to learn to play a banjo, nor the cash to pay for what this instrument should go for.
