What would be the best glue to use to adhere seashells to a wooden table? And is it OK to paint the table with latex paint first, and maybe rough it up a bit after painting; or should I glue the shells onto raw wood? The only reason for the paint would be if there is space between the shells, the paint would be about the same color as the shells.
