TransTints are alcohol-based dye concentrates. They should mix with any epoxy resin. I never use the 5-minute stuff as it seems weak. I use System Three General Resin + one of two of their hardeners. A single drop of the dye concentrate is plenty to color a full ounce of mixed resin. Mix resin and hardener first, then add the TransTint (Not TransFast which is a waterbased dye that won't mix).

You do, however, have to be careful when adding alcohol to epoxy. Reason is that epoxy is a thermoset and will get quite warm during the reaction; hot enough, in fact, to boil the alcohol which will result in epoxy foam bubbling out of your joint. I learned this the hard way because someone on a website said it was ok to add up to 20% alcohol to thin the resin. Bad advice according to the manufacturer's tech rep when I called.

Mixing epoxy should be done carefully; that's why I bought a digital gram scale. Since then, I mix by weight and all my pours have come out perfectly.
