My refinishing project was interrupted by the purchase of two balled rhododendron plants ($15 from wholesale grower and I am a sucker for a bargain). Planting involved moving the large shrubs already on the site to a new home, removing rhododendron unfriendly soil, retrieving soil from woodland, carrying 25 gallona of water to settle them, etc. Such a bargain!
