In a different field......

Bill Tindall
Science is as much to do with creativity as art or craft. In Science the worth and validity of ones creativity is only realized when it is copied(repeated) and used by others. There is even a means of keeping score- citations. One can readily find how many times a scientist's work has been cited by others. To become famous others must repeat your creativity and find it useful . Is there a fundamental reason that creativity in craft should have a different value system?
