Contractor's saw - RIGID 4512 or Steel City 35990 () Craig Daymon
The stamped steel wings are fine. The saws with them are over $100 cheaper, if not $200 cheaper than the cast iron winged versions. I have 1" thick phenolic sheet that I can replace them with if it proves a problem. Heavy and flat. Besides, we're talking about the wings and not the table. Granite seems nice, but fragile without reinforcement and, again, $100 to $200 more.
Anybody have either of these saws?
