Re: Drill Driver acting up - recommendations?

Larry Clinton At Frankfort, (Central) Indiana
Well, after tossing at least 4 battery powered drills/drivers due to the batteries going bad and finding that replacement of the batteries was over 80% of the cost of a new drill kit on sale, I went with the Ridged Drill and Impact driver. They have a lifetime warranty on both the tool and the batteries. It was a real hassle to get them registered, but I did it - I am now having some problems with the batteries so will let you know how the warranty is honored in the near future. I will say the tools have performed to my satisfaction so far. I didn't like the style or weight of the 18V drill so bought the 12V. It has done everything I needed - I use a tailed drill or drill press for heavy work and like a lighter drill for its convenience. I did purchase the 18V impact driver and it works well.
