I looked at wordpress early on so I didn't remember why I ruled them out so I went back and checked them out. I think the main reason I didn't choose them was that I didn't find a template I liked. Part of the problem is that there are so many different ones that going through them got old quick and at that point I was working on narrowing down the field. So it wasn't because something was wrong with them it was more that in the 10 minutes I spent looking nothing really caught my eye.
