Re: multiple identical spindle tirning tool

Thank you, John, but I do have a couple sets of lathe tools already. I was just thinking if I could have this aqngle iron design to descend down the dowel it would cut at only one point and go on to finish the design I am hoping for for my chairs. 7 different designs, 14 turnings per chair and i am thinking about maqking 6 chairs before Xmas for presents for the family members. I am not inexperienced with lathe turnings; have the Shopsmith duplicator too, and can make my first turning and then use it for the model for the rewst of the turnings. But having the angle iron tool would make it easier for me to make many spindles with little trouble and not a lot of time on each. 14 x 6 =84 turnings. I have the first spindles made for my first chair, and have to just glue them into their sockets.
Oh, well, I guess I shall just continue with the duplicator and forget the other tool I mentioned...maybe later will be made.
