Used isn't a bad way to go with any of the saws, but what may seem like a great deal to some may not be such a great deal if yopu don't know what to look for. For example, a 3 phase saw very likely came from a production shop, not would a person need to contend with a new motor, wireing and switch if you wanted it to run on single phase, but the bearings and arbor may be wore out. And what I mean by the arbor being wore out, I'm talking about where the blade fits over it. If it has some wear, the blade will have some play on it. Tom, what cabinet saw did you buy for $60, do you have any pictures of it ?
